CAOR, the Centre de Robotique (Robotics Lab) belongs to the department Mathématique et Système (Mathematics and Systems) of [[http://www.mines-paristech.fr|Mines ParisTech]] and is collaborating and working in research themes that apply to the concept of [[:lara]].

The Robotics Lab is involved in education, fundamental and applied research. Lessons are given to future engineers of Mines ParisTech, to master students and some other trainings. Research is twofold: through industrial and public contracts, researchers develop new concepts, tools or algorithms that are deployed in real systems with a focus in ITS (Intelligent Transportation Systems). Also fundamental research is carried out in applied mathematics, most often inspired by problems from the applied research.
