Three cities will host large-scale demonstrators, and a second group of cities will host smaller research activities: showcases, city-studies and small demonstrations. The sites selected by CityMobil have given a better knowledge of the potential of Advanced Public Transportation Systems (APTS), Personal Rapid Transit (PRT) and Cybernetic Transportation Systems (CTS) applications in European cities. Most of the selected cities intend to complement the existing collective transportation systems with advanced individual public transportation systems.
